Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe is out indefinitely after the team determined he will need exploratory surgery to repair cartilage in his right knee, according to an ESPN report.
Bledsoe has missed his team's last four games. The injury bothered him in the Suns' victory over the Clippers last Monday and he sat out the team's home loss to Memphis last Thursday, home win over the Bucks on Saturday and road loss to the Bulls on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old, four-year veteran is averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 33.5 minutes per game for the Suns this year, and is a major reason why Phoenix is 21-13 and one game behind the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.

Bledsoe and Goran Dragic have formed the double-point guard lineup that has Phoenix off to a surprisingly successful start to the season.
