With second-year guard Nemanja Nedovic recovering from a stress fracture in his right foot, the Warriors are reportedly inviting free agent rookie point guard Aaron Craft to training camp.
The team reached agreement Wednesday with the Ohio State product, according to an email agent Lance Young sent to the Columbus Dispatch. Young told the newspaper that Craft received a "small guarantee."
Craft’s invitation undoubtedly stems from his work with the Warriors during the Las Vegas Summer League. The 6-footer arrived a couple days late, after playing with the 76ers Summer League club in Florida, but impressed the coaching staff with his smarts and tenacity.
Craft, a four-year starter for the Buckeyes and a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, will continue summer training in the Columbus area before reporting to camp at the end of September.
