Ideally ... Jermaine O'Neal becomes part of a bench that for the first time all year starts to look like they've really got an idea what they want to do out there ...

Programming note: Watch Yahoo SportsTalk Live Wednesday night at 8:30 and 11:00 on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

The Warriors are 6-1 this season with Jermaine O'Neal in the starting lineup.

Last Saturday night against Brooklyn he filled in for the flu-ridden David Lee and registered 23 points and 13 rebounds.

On Monday night in Detroit, he started in place of Lee again and put up 16 points and 10 rebounds.

It's unclear whether Lee will rejoin the Warriors for Wednesday night's game in Chicago, but if he does make the trip, will he be in the starting lineup?

On Tuesday's Yahoo SportsTalk Live, Jim Kozimor asked 95.7 The Game's Mark Kreidler, "Are the Warriors better with Jermaine O'Neal in the starting lineup?"

Kreidler: "No, but that's not to take anything away from what he's done ... Ideally, Lee's back on the floor, Bogut's back on the floor and Jermaine O'Neal becomes part of a bench that for the first time all year starts to look like they've really got an idea what they want to do out there ..."

What do you think Warriors fans? Would you seriously contemplate putting O'Neal in the starting lineup permanently?
