I think right now he is one of the few people in the NBA who you could argue might be the third best player in the NBA.

Last month Stephen Curry became the first Warrior since Latrell Sprewell in 1995 to start the All-Star Game.

He is averaging 23.5 points per game (8th), 8.7 assists (5th) and leads the league with 198 made 3-pointers.

LeBron James is the world's greatest player with Kevin Durant behind him. But who is the third best player in the NBA?

On Monday night's Yahoo SportsTalk Live, NBC Sports columnist Joe Posnanski had high praise for Curry.

"I think right now he is one of the few people in the NBA who you could argue might be the third best player in the NBA ... he plays big in big games. I mean look at him in the playoffs last year. He likes the big stage and he has since he was a kid ..."
