Instead of playing the usual six or seven preseason games, the Warriors will suit up for just four exhibition games.
But there is a very good reason: They are traveling overseas for two of the games.
They will play two games at Oracle Arena and two in China.

The Warriors will open the four-game slate on Sept. 30 against the Nuggets in Oakland. After that game, they will jetset to China were they will meet the Timberwolves for two games, one in Oct. 4 in Shenzen and one on Oct. 8 in Shanghai.
Once they return home, they will play their final tune-up on Oct. 13 against the Kings.
They tip off the regular season four days later against the Houston Rockets, where they will get their championship rings and raise another banner to the rafters.
