OAKLAND – Warriors center Andrew Bogut received a one-game suspension for his part in a brief skirmish with several Portland players in last Saturday's 113-101 loss to the Trail Blazers at Oracle Arena, the NBA announced Monday.
Bogut in the third quarter got tangled up Portland backup center Joel Freeland, and ended up throwing a forearm toward Freeland. Several Trail Blazers jumped in, as did Warriors backup forward Draymond Green.
Green received a $20,000 fine for his participation in the altercation.
Blazers guard Mo Williams also received a one-game suspension, with forward LaMarcus Aldridge being hit with a $45,000 fine and guard Wesley Matthews getting a $20,000 fine.
All major principals received a technical foul at the time, with Green, Matthews and Williams getting ejections.
Bogut's suspension is expected to be served Tuesday night at New Orleans.
