SACRAMENTO -- Draymond Green appeared to sustain an injury to his right knee area in the second quarter of the Warriors-Kings game Saturday night at Golden 1 Center.

The Warriors called Green's injury a right knee contusion. X-rays taken in the locker room came back negative.

Green dribbled the length of the court, racing in for a layup and missed his attempt. He landed hard underneath the basket and remained down for a couple minutes as the Warriors called timeout with 1:04 left in the half.

After clutching his knee area for a few moments, Green rose and limped directly into the locker room, accompanied by the training staff, for closer examination.

Green had six points, six rebounds and three assists in 18 first-half minutes. He was returning after a one-game absence due to a shoulder injury.

Coming back from the locker room, Green returned after a timeout and replaced Patrick McCaw with 10:09 left in the third quarter.
