Warriors

It wasn't always pretty, but Sunday's win over the Celtics set a new franchise record and displayed just how dangerous the Warriors are at home.
Stephen Curry is known for his offensive prowess, but not his dunking ability. He put it all on display Sunday night against the Celtics.
Klay Thompson had 31 points and Steph Curry posted 22 of his own, as the Warriors surged past the visiting Celtics for a fifth-straight win.

Tonight's game will determine whether the Warriors trip has been disastrous or just plain disappointing. The Warriors are 1-3 after a terrible loss yesterday in Toronto, and face the lowly Wizards tonight.

The Warriors jumped out to a nine-point lead at halftime, but scored just 11 points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth, as Mark Jackson's squad put up a season-low 75 points in a road loss to the Raptors.

Although the Warriors said they were hopeful Stephen Curry would be able to play on this road trip, it may make more sense to rest him until the team returns to Oracle on Wednesday to face the Grizzlies.
  • 2y
With two winable games remaining before they return to Oakland, the Warriors are poised to set the fate of their road trip -- and the rest of their season.
  • 2y
The Warriors stayed close with the 76ers for two quarters, but slipped in the third and only scored 18 points in the fourth, as they lost in Philadelphia on Friday, the 50th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game.
