SAN FRANCISCO – Pro Bowl guard Mike Iupati will return to the 49ers’ starting lineup Monday night after missing four games with a knee injury.

Iupati, who sustained a partially torn MCL on Nov. 17 against the New Orleans Saints, has participated in only limited practice the past two weeks.

Wide receiver Mario Manningham, who missed two of the 49ers’ three practices last week with a knee condition, was declared inactive for the game.

Rookie Quinton Patton is expected to see his first action as the team’s No. 3 wideout since he sustained a fractured right foot on Sept. 26 against the St. Louis Rams. Jon Baldwin is a healthy scratch.

Anthony Dixon will take over as the 49ers’ starting fullback for Bruce Miller, whose season came to an end last week with a fractured left scapula. Newly signed fullback Will Tukuafu is also active for the game.
