I don't see why he wouldn't go No. 1.
Marcus Lattimore on Jadeveon Clowney

Jadeveon Clowney is one of the most talked about prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft, but questions have recently been raised about his work ethic.

Current 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore spent 2011 and 2012 as Clowney's teammate at South Carolina, and in an interview on SiriusXM radio on Saturday, he was asked how high Clowney could go in the draft:

"After that 40-time, and you know, just the athlete he is, I don't see why he wouldn't go No. 1. Why would you pass on a guy that can impact your team from Day 1? He's a freak athlete, he can run like a deer and he's powerful. He can get to the quarterback. I just don't understand why you wouldn't take him No. 1."

Lattimore also addressed Clowney's motor:

"He's been in the media since he's been in high school. On the front of every magazine, on every TV. It's so much pressure on him, but one thing I do know about him, he loves football. That guy loves football and that's why he striving to be great. Once he gets around those veteran guys, say he gets around a J.J. Watt, he's going to see all the success he's had and his practice habits and what he has to do, and he's going to feed off that. And I know he's going to be fine."
