The 49ers tendered a one-year contract to restricted free agent cornerback Tramaine Brock, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
Brock joined San Francisco as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2010, and went on to earn a spot on the team’s opening day roster. He appeared in three games, totaling three tackles.
In 2011, Brock set a career high with two interceptions in 11 game as the 49ers advanced to the franchise's first NFC Championship Game since the 1997 season.
This past season, he appeared in all 16 regular season games, and tied for the team lead with 15 tackles on special teams.
The 49ers also announced the signing of wide receiver Joe Hastings on Thursday, who originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in July, 2011.
He spent most of the 2011 season on the practice squad, before a promotion to the active roster for the final game of the regular season.
Hastings was not with the 49ers during the 2012 season, after being released during training camp.
