Brett Favre played in 302 games over an illustrious 20-year career, so it'd be understandable if the Green Bay Packers legend couldn't remember his most fierce adversary.
But when asked Friday on NFL Network who the most competitive quarterback he ever played against was, Favre had an official answer.

"I'd say they're all competitive, but when I really think about it, I would say Steve Young probably was," Favre said.
"No disrespect to any of the other ones, they all were competitive," he added. "I loved to watch him play, but I hated to play against him."
San Francisco 49ers
Young and Favre are two of the most accomplished quarterbacks of all-time, and iconic NFL figures from the 1990's era.

But despite Favre's choice of quarterback, Young was 0-6 against the Packers in the regular season in his career, throwing three touchdowns and seven interceptions.
In 1995, Young and defending champion 49ers were eliminated at home by Favre and the Packers in the NFC Divisional Round.
Young was 32-of-65 for 328 passing yards and two interceptions. He rushed for a score in that game.
In 1997, despite San Francisco being a No. 1 seed hosting the Packers at Candlestick Park in the NFC title game, Young's 49ers again came up short to Favre and Co.
Young finished 23-of-38 for 250 yards and an interception.
It wasn't until 1998 that Young and the 49ers broke through, as the dual-threat quarterback rocketed a pass into coverage that was caught for a touchdown by Terrell Owens to win the game and push San Francisco into the Divisional Round.
Favre, an 11-time Pro Bowler, three-time first-team All-Pro and three-time league MVP, is second in NFL history with 71,838 career passing yards, only behind Peyton Manning.
He is also second all-time with 508 passing touchdowns.
Young, a three-time Super Bowl winner, with one coming as a starter, ranks 30th with 33,124 career passing yards and 29th with 232 passing touchdowns.
Favre is a 2016 Hall of Fame finalist, while Young was inducted in 2005.
