SAN FRANCISCO -- Quarterback Alex Smith completed six of 10 passes for 92 yards, and the defense came up with two interceptions, as the 49ers jumped out to a 24-3 halftime lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Smith and the 49ers opened the game with a four-play, 50-yard touchdown drive. Smith hit Delanie Walker on a beautifully thrown 26-yard touchdown pass for a 7-0 lead with 10:26 left in the first quarter.Cornerback Carlos Rogers intercepted his third pass in three games, and returned it 31 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the second quarter.Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman was intercepted again as rookie Chris Culliver came up with the pass intended for receiver Micheal Spurlock. Culliver is seeing action as the 49ers' third cornerback with Shawntae Spencer being held out of action with a hyperextended toe.Running back Frank Gore scored on a 2-yard run. Gore started and played 22 of the 49ers' 25 offensive plays. Gore rushed for 59 yards on 13 carries, but he also lost a fumble.David Akers capped the 49ers' scoring with a 37-yard field goal with 4:29 left in the half.Freeman is 10 of 22 for 101 yards with two interceptions after one half. His passer rating is 21.2. Smith's passer rating is 123.8.
