Patriots linebacker Darius Fleming has been released.
He thanked ownership, the organization and fans via Instagram, saying:
“I want to thank the Kraft family, my coaches, the Patriots organization and the fans for the amazing opportunity during the past two years in New England. I wish the organization nothing but the best going forward.”

Mainly a special teams performer in his two seasons with the Patriots, Fleming appeared in six games last season and had four tackles.
