Stat pack: Bay Area Super Bowl record holders

Share

The Super Bowl will celebrate its half-century mark in the Bay Area this year, as Levi's Stadium plays host to the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

The Bay Area on 10 occasions has been represented in the big game.

And along the way, the two teams have set longstanding records.

The following list includes records held by the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders teams that played in the Super Bowl.

However, it does not include all Raiders teams.

For instance, Marcus Allen's 9.6 yards-per-carry average, the highest in Super Bowl history, is not included here, as it came with the Los Angeles Raiders in Super Bowl XVIII.
