Ginn limited, Jacobs still out

SANTA CLARA -- Receiver Ted Ginn was limited in practice again Thursday, and his return in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings is questionable.Meanwhile, the 49ers will have to wait for the regular-season debut of running back Brandon Jacobs, who has been out since Aug. 18 with a left knee injury.Jacobs continues to make progress from a left knee sprain, but he did not practice on Thursday. Jacobs told CSN Bay Area's Dave Feldman that there is no timetable for his return. Jacobs was seen jogging as part of his Thursday rehab session.Ginn, who sustained an ankle sprain on Aug. 26, ran pass routes during individual drills prior to Thursday's practice. Coach Jim Harbaugh will likely declare Ginn a "game-time decision" when he speaks with reporters on Friday.
