McDonald returns; Saints' Harper sits

SANTA CLARA -- Defensive lineman Ray McDonald returned to at least limited work Wednesday after missing practice time the past two weeks with a right hamstring strain.McDonald is expected to be available for the 49ers' game Saturday against the New Orleans Saints. However, tight end Delanie Walker will not be available due to a fractured jaw. Walker hopes to be cleared Monday when he is next scheduled to meet with doctors.The 49ers play the New Orleans Saints on Saturday in an NFC divisional playoff game at Candlestick Park.
New Orleans has a big injury concern that came to light Wednesday when safety Roman Harper (ankle) did not practice. Harper leads the Saints in tackles and sacks (7.5). Also, receiver Lance Moore (hamstring) did not practice. Moore sat out the Saints' playoff opener, a 45-28 victory over the Detroit Lions.
