Fans will get one opportunity to see the 49ers practice during training camp this summer. FanFest is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 10, 49ers CEO Jed York revealed Sunday night via Twitter.

York said details on acquiring tickets will be announced soon. Last year, children 12 and under were admitted free of charge. All other tickets were $5 with proceeds going to the 49ers Foundation.

The event has been held the past two seasons at Candlestick Park. The day is capped by a practice and autograph session. The 49ers announced attendance at 32,000 fans last year.

The 49ers are unable to have practices open to the public at their Santa Clara practice facility due to the construction of nearby Levi's Stadium. This is the 49ers' final season at Candlestick Park.

Once the club moves into Levi's Stadium in 2014, fans will have a greater opportunity to watch the team practice during training camp, York indicated.
