Atlanta defensive end John Abraham's sprained left ankle limited him to just 15 snaps in the Falcons' 30-28 NFC divisional playoff defeat of Seattle on Sunday, but the sack-happy veteran was able to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday.
Abraham, who has 122 sacks in an NFL career that began in 2000 and led Atlanta with 10 of its 29 sacks this season, was one of five Falcons on the team's injury report Wednesday, in advance of Sunday's NFC title game against the 49ers.
All five play on defense.
Following, then, is the Falcons' injury report for Wednesday:
Limited participation in practice -- DE John Abraham (ankle), DT Jonathan Babineaux (shoulder), CB Chris Owens (hamstring).
Full participation in practice -- S William Moore (hand), LB Stephen Nicholas (foot).
