Manningham declared ‘out' against Patriots

49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham has officially been declared OUT for Sunday night’s game versus New England.

Manningham will miss his second consecutive game, sidelined with a right shoulder injury. He only took part in individual drills this week and did not participate in practice on Friday.

Manningham's absence should allow greater opportunity for rookie A.J. Jenkins to try and make an impact at the wide receiver position. Jenkins played eight snaps in the 49ers' 27-13 win last Sunday, but did not see any passes thrown his way.

Delanie Walker is also expected to see more playing time, as the 49ers will go with two tight ends.

Manningham has 41 receptions for 449 yards in 11 games this season with the 49ers.
