BOX SCORE

The Sacramento Kings gave the Golden State Warriors about all they could handle for about 26 minutes and then it all came apart. The Warriors jumped all over the Kings, using a 28-2 run in the third quarter to blow out Sacramento by a final of 109-86, snapping the Kings' four-game win streak.

Klay Thompson had no problems getting open. He buried 7-for-12 from deep on his way to 35 points, including 17 in the third quarter as the Warriors throttled the Kings. Once Thompson got hot, the rest of the team followed suit.

Kevin Durant struggled the last time these two teams faced off, but not Wednesday night at Oracle. The former MVP went off for 21 points, seven assists and seven rebounds.

Steph Curry shook off a slow start to drop in 13 points and hand out nine assists and Draymond Green lost his mind at the end of the first half and was ejected.

DeMarcus Cousins is a matchup nightmare for most teams, but he seems to struggle with the pace that the Warriors play at. He finished the night with 13 points, six assists and four rebounds, but sat for much of the second half once the Warriors took the big lead.

Where would the Kings be without Darren Collison over the last two weeks? The 29-year-old point guard attacked the Warriors, knocking down 5-for-9 from the field for 14 points.

Matt Barnes stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, 14 rebounds and three assists. Rookie Malachi Richardson got an extended look, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds and Willie Cauley-Stein added 13 points and six rebounds.

STANDOUT PERFORMER

Thompson singlehandedly outscored the Kings in the third quarter. When he gets hot, the Warriors are almost impossible to stop.

TURNING POINT

Golden State hit the Kings with a 28-2 run in the third quarter to take a 23 point lead and the Kings never recovered.

INJURY UPDATE

Arron Afflalo sat the second half as a precautionary measure with glute and hamstring stiffness and Richardson went down holding his right hamstring with 1:06 remaining in the game. Ty Lawson missed his fourth straight game with a strained left adductor muscle. Garrett Temple is out until after the All-Star break with a torn left hamstring. Omri Casspi missed his 17th straight contest with a right plantaris tendon strain. Rudy Gay is out for the season with a torn left Achilles.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Kings return to the court next Wednesday when Michael Malone brings his Denver Nuggets through town to open the post All-Star game schedule.
