SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Kings announced on Thursday that forward Carl Landry underwent successful arthroscopic right knee surgery performed by Dr. David Altchek at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Landry is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the 2014-15 NBA campaign.
The 30-year-old seven-year NBA veteran played in 18 games for the Kings last year, making one start. He averaged 4.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 12.9 minutes per game.
Landry signed a four-year, $27 million contract to return to the Kings, where he played parts of two seasons from 2009 to 2011. The contract earns him $6.75 million per season, second only to Rudy Gay last year.
