Deonte Burton's struggles during the Las Vegas Summer League didn't prevent the point guard from landing an NBA gig. Well, or at least a training camp invite.
After spending part of his summer with the Washington Wizards, Burton has reached an agreement with the Sacramento Kings, according to Marc Spears with Yahoo! Sports.
Despite averaging 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists during his final season at Nevada, the 6-foot-1 guard went undrafted in June, but never found his rhythm during Summer League. He shot an abysmal 3 of 19 from the field in six games, averaging 1.8 points and 1.0 assists.
