NBA fines Kings' Malone $25,000

NEW YORK – Sacramento Kings head coach Michael Malone has been fined $25,000 for verbal abuse of a game official and not proceeding directly to his locker room following the completion of the game, it was announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.

Malone’s actions occurred following the Kings’ 91-90 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 17, at FedExForum.
