DeMarcus Cousins played in his first game for the Sacramento Kings on Friday night since the team suspended him indefinitely for fighting with head coach Keith Smart, and now he is rumored to be on the trading block.
ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons are two teams whose interest runs high on the 22-year-old big man.
Although the Celtics and Pistons are showing interest, it does not mean the Kings are willing to trade their leader in points (16.5), rebounds (9.5) and steals (1.4). Co-owners Gavin and Joe Maloof are reportedly hesitant to trade Cousins, especially with his trade value being relatively low since his three-game suspension.
