Johnson played the 2011 season with a torn groin and broken hand, yet still managed 76 receptions for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns. He caught four or more passes in 13 of the Bills' 16 games. Johnson signed a five-year contract prior to the 2012 season. He continued his reign as the Bills' top wideout, grabbing 79 passes for 1,046 yards and six touchdowns on the season. He became the only receiver in Buffalo Bills' history to top 1,000 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons.
