Raiders punter Chris Kluwe discussed an array of topics on Conan O'Brien's late-night show Thursday night, including his ongoing activism in the gay rights movement and his unique approach to swearing.
It was a comment the 31-year-old made later in the segment, though, that widened a few eyes.
When asked if the NFL pays him extra attention due to his forthright nature, Kluwe decided to use the opportunity to poke fun at former New England tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Here's what he had to say about Hernandez, who was charged with murder on Wednesday and denied bail the next day.

"They pretty much just left me alone,” Kluwe said. “As long as you’re not out shooting people.”
The Philadelphia native makes his Raiders debut on September 8th in Indianapolis.
