The Raiders signed some draft picks on Monday, when the entire class arrived for an orientation prior to this weekend’s rookie minicamp.
The group toured the facility, got fitted for helmets, were assigned jersey numbers and, after all that, three of them signed on the dotted line.
That trio includes the biggest fish. First-round pick Karl Joseph signed his four-year rookie contract late Monday evening with compensation commiserate with his draft selection.

Fourth-round quarterback Connor Cook and seventh-round guard Vadal Alexander also signed contracts.
The NFL’s rookie wage scale slots each contract and makes negotiations far easier than before, taking tension out of Joseph’s first act as a pro.
The West Virginia safety will earn $11,884,316 over the four-year deal, which includes a $6,843,140 signing bonus. He’ll earn a $2,160,785 base salary in 2016, which increasing amounts over the life of the deal.
As with all first-round picks, the Raiders hold a fifth-year option to retain Joseph for an extra year.
NFL
Joseph signed on his first visit to the facility. He was in Haiti visiting family during the NFL draft, and the Raiders told him to stay there instead of flying out for an introductory press conference. His first face-to-face with local media will occur on Friday.
Joseph won’t participate in the rookie minicamp while recovering from an ACL injury, but should be ready for training camp in late July.
Cook’s deal is worth $2,959,888 and Alexander has a contract slotted for $2,416,844.
