The SaberCats today announced FBLB Gus Tyson has been added to the SaberCats' 2011 roster.Tyson (6-3, 255) played for the former Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings in 2010, when he totaled 18 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one tackle for loss in 12 games. On the offensive side of the ball, he rushed for 16 yards and one touchdown.Tyson has also spent time with the Cleveland Gladiators and played for the Green Bay Blizzard of the Professional Indoor Football League in 2007. During that season, he totaled 29 tackles, three sacks, one interception and two fumbles recovered.A native of St. Albans, NY, Tyson attended Virginia Union.Courtesy San Jose SaberCats media services
