Carlos Beltran has said goodbye to the Big Apple.

Beltran decided on Wednesday to accept the Giants' offer to bring him to San Francisco and said farewell to his former team, the New York Mets.
"He came over and shook everybody's hands and said thank you," Mets outfielder Angel Pagan said. "We were very happy for him. He's going to be with a team that's a contender."
The deal is expected to be announced on Thursday morning.
