Running back Kendall Hunter, who struggled in his comeback attempt during 49ers training camp after sustaining a torn ACL in his right knee last summer, was placed on injured reserve on Saturday.
In describing the events that led to his sack for a safety on Saturday night, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said the Denver Broncos called the right coverage for that particular play.
