With the addition of 27-year-old former MVP Kevin Durant, the Warriors are set up for years to come.

Coming off two straight NBA Finals appearances, the Warriors have the potential to stay at the top of the NBA for a while.

All-Star power forward Draymond Green addressed the goal of a Warriors' dynasty on Monday afternoon.

"I'm excited about KD and can't wait Til we get on the floor. We have spoken on wanting to build a dynasty for many years and this is a huge step in the right direction of doing that," Green told CSN Bay Area's Ros Gold-Onwude.

In addition to Durant, the Warriors' core of Stephen Curry (28), Klay Thompson (26) and Green (26) are all 28-or-under.

Durant, on Monday morning made the announcement that he was joining the Warriors in a post on the Players Tribune website:

“The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player — as that has always steered me in the right direction,” Durant wrote. “But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth. With this in mind, I have decided that I am going to join the Golden State Warriors.”
