Mike Miller became a free agent after being amnestied by the Heat on Thursday and is drawing interest from the Golden State Warriors, according to Yahoo! Sports NBA expert Adrian Wojnarowski.
While Wojnarowski lists the Oklahoma City Thunder as the front runners to sign Miller, he also has the Warriors as one of four other teams that have expressed interest in the veteran swingman.
Miller, 33, was a valuable asset as the Heat won back-to-back NBA championships, but his constant back problems have been a concern since the 2011-12 season. Miller has been contemplating fusion surgery to repair bulging disks in his back.
Miami waived Miller earlier this week by using the amnesty provision, which will save the Heat from higher luxury tax payments.
