Following Golden State's win at Houston on Sunday, Rockets guard Chandler Parsons did not take kindly to the actions of both Warriors coach Mark Jackson and rookie forward Draymond Green.
While addressing the Houston media following the game, Parsons made two unprompted references to Green.
"Our effort needs to be much better than that especially with what's at stake. To get beat by 30 on our own home court and having some rookie that doesn't even play talk trash as he goes by us," Parsons said. "Embarrassing so we should feel terrible."
[INSTANT REPLAY: Warriors 108, Rockets 78]
When asked if a rivalry was brewing between Golden State and Houston, Parsons said: "That kid is irrelevant who was talking trash. I guess it's a rivalry with what we did to them with the (single-game three-point record), but I feel like every game should be like that."
Shortly after, Parsons responded to a seemingly innocent tweet from Jackson that read, "Congrats on a great year. GREAT seeing U 2night!!!!!" Parsons' response included Jackson's message, then added, "just be glad u don't have to c us again."
Houston won the season series with Golden State, three games to one.
