SANTA CRUZ -- The Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, added to their roster with eight selections in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft. Scott Suggs, a 6’6”, 195-pound guard from the University of Washington, was selected fifteenth overall with the Warriors’ first pick. Suggs finished his career at Washington seventh overall in shooting.
Jonathan Kreft, a 7’0”, 250-pound center from Florida State, was the Warriors’ second selection with the third pick in the second round (20th overall). Kreft was a member of the ACC Champion Seminoles in 2012 and helped lead the team to two straight NCAA tournament appearances.
In the subsequent rounds, the Santa Cruz Warriors selected guard Shane Gibson from Sacred Heart, forward Jeremy Atkinson from UNC Asheville, forward Orion Outerbridge from Rhode Island, guard Earl Pettis from La Salle and guard Garland Judkins from Texas A&M-CC. With the team’s final selection, the Warriors picked Kiwi Gardner, a guard from Providence and an Oakland native who participated in open tryouts this season in Santa Cruz and Oakland.

6th round, 15th pick: Garland Judkins, Texas A&M-CC, 6’4”, 195-pound guard
7th round, 10th pick: Kiwi Gardner, Providence, 5’7”, 155-pound guard
