Twelve was the magic number for the Warriors in their Saturday win over the Lakers. The Warriors came back from a 12-point deficit in the first half to win 83-77, which marked their 12th straight victory in the Las Vegas Summer League.
After a back-and-forth first quarter that ended with both teams tied 16-16, the Lakers opened up their largest lead of the night (12 points) in the second. They led 43-33 at halftime.
The Lakers' extended their lead to 11 points just after the break, but the Warriors fought back. Golden State went on a 7-0 run late in the third and ended the quarter down just two.
The Warriors took their first lead with 5:45 left in the fourth quarter and worked their advantage up to eight after a 14-4 run. The Lakers nearly took the lead right back with less than three minutes left, but the Warriors held them off to grab the victory.
The Warriors' Kent Bazemore led all scorers with 26 points on 9-for-20 shooting. Cameron Jones added 18 points, and Draymond Green had the only double-double of the game with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The Warriors play the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2013 NBA Summer League Tournament semifinals on Sunday at 5 p.m.
