Warriors name Eric Bresler Chase Center executive director

GSW Arena LLC has named Eric Bresler, who has nearly three decades of experience in venue management in the sports and entertainment industry, as Executive Director of Chase Center, it was announced today.

Bresler will direct the overall activation of the Golden State Warriors state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood including programming, content development and venue operations. He will report to Chase Center Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Collins.

“Eric brings more than 25 years of experience in venue management in the sports and entertainment industry, having served most recently with AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world,” Collins said. “We are continuing to put the right pieces in place for Chase Center and hiring Eric as our Executive Director continues to show our commitment to building and operating a world-class sports and entertainment facility in San Francisco.”

Bresler joins GSW Arena LLC most recently from AEG Facilities where he was Vice President of Event Booking and Development, overseeing the programming of concerts, festivals, family shows, championship sports exhibitions and special events within AEG’s portfolio of top facilities.

In addition, Bresler was engaged with business development including event revenue generation and marketing efforts at the venues. Bresler has been a part of numerous major venue openings with AEG Facilities including Sprint Center (Kansas City, MO), KFC Yum! Center.

Prior to his success at AEG Facilities, Bresler served as Vice President of Arena Bookings and Marketing for the Heat Group/American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida where he opened the new waterfront arena. Bresler began his career in South Florida at what is now known as Miami Stadium, working in the stadium business offices with a focus on marketing and public relations.

He later joined the Charlotte Coliseum, the former home of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets and Charlotte Bobcats where he served as Director of Marketing handling the event and venue marketing and public relations efforts. He left Charlotte and joined what is now known as the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, as the Director of Marketing, where he was active in the grand opening of the new arena which proved to be his first successful major venue opening.
