The Charlotte Bobcats are looking to move Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, according to a report, and are interested in acquiring Harrison Barnes from the Golden State Warriors.
Joe Kotoch of SheridanHoops.com reports that the Bobcats believe Kidd-Gilchrist is expendable since they can draft Otto Porter out of Georgetown with the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft.
Kidd-Gilchrist, drafted with the No. 2 overall pick last year, averaged nine points and 5.8 rebounds in 26 minutes per game his rookie season.
Barnes, drafted five spots after Kidd-Gilchrist, posted similar numbers during the regular season, but stepped his game up during the playoffs, when he averaged 16.1 points in 12 games.
