Will Zaza and JaVale return? Bob Myers updates Warriors' center situation

As of Friday afternoon, the Warriors' 2017-18 roster consists of 13 players.

Will Golden State look to fill the final two roster spots with centers?

"Probably, but who knows, man," GM Bob Myers told the media on Friday. "We have ideas about what we want to do but it's very unpredictable ... I imagine we need to supplement that position."

JaVale McGee and Zaza Pachulia are both unrestricted free agents.

Hey Bob -- where do things stand with JaVale?

"I'm not optimistic about anything, but I'm hopeful," Myers answered. "We're gonna look into that. His representatives and I have been communicating, as well as Zaza.

"We'll weigh that with what other options we have. But he was great for us and he afforded us an ability to play a different way."

JaVale met with the Clippers on Wednesday and the Kings on Thursday, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

McGee's veteran minimum is $2.1 million, but the Warriors could give him $2.5 million using his non-bird rights (20 percent raise).

Pachulia made $2.9 million last year and his non-bird rights would land him at $3.5 million for next season.

"If it works for them and it works for us, that would be great," Myers said. "They were both key parts of winning a championship. And they both sacrificed, too. But that would be nice because continuity is important...

"We'll see. I don't want to deflect. I just don't know."
